Can AI Help Your Podcast? Should It?

We've talked about Artificial Intelligence many times. AI is everywhere, and the podcast industry is no exception.

AI can be intimidating. It's hard to know as a podcaster what you can rely on it for and what you can't. If you're unsure, dip your toe in the water. Start by drafting a script using an AI platform. We've found that AI can often provide a solid groundwork of copy, but that adding a human touch (with some fairly substantial editing) is essential. But even if rewriting is plentiful, you're likely saving time.

The best course of action, whether you intend to rely on AI or not, is to stay informed. Keep up on AI advancements, and well, listen to podcasts about AI. Here's a list compiled by ClickUp last fall of AI-related podcasts that can get you started.

It's much better to be well informed about new technology than to be afraid of it.

WAVVE DESIGN OF THE WEEK

It's hard to overstate how important it is for podcast profile pics to show you smiling. It conveys trust and authenticity by showing the podcaster really enjoys doing what they're doing. The wide smile here is the most prominent visual in the design, and it is ideal when portraying a host whose topic can be very serious. The soft blue hues and casual font choices add to the welcoming feel of the design.
