  • Growth slows: Weekly listening barely moved (37% → 38%); “ever listened” now at 75%.
  • Platform shift: YouTube leads with 40%, while Spotify slips to 18%. Nearly half use YouTube for audio-only; 76% of smart TV listening happens there.
  • Deeper engagement: Weekly listeners spend 6.3 hours (up from 6.0). Monthly listeners follow 3.4 shows (vs 3.2 in 2023).
  • Genre trends: Comedy (36%) tops the list, political talk rises to 31%, true crime steady at 30%. Celebrity interviews lag at 23%.
